Name: Rethwyn
Age: 13
Appearance: Rethwyn is fair, though his skin is currently tanned from helping out on the family cothold. His eyes are a light gray, and his face is narrow, but not so much as to be skinny. That can’t be said for the rest of him, because he currently has a lanky, half-grown look to him. His hair is light brown and is clipped short, somewhat unevenly, but is neat enough. He keeps himself fairly tidy, and his clothes are rarely rumpled or stained. He’s average in height currently, but there’s no telling how tall he’ll end up.
Personality: Rethwyn had never been away from home until he was searched. Thrown into a much larger and far more complicated world, he is very uncertain and a little bit lost. He works hard and takes the word of those in authority to be law - unless it goes against what he is told by someone he holds in higher esteem. He will prove extremely loyal to a few select individuals throughout his life. He’s an inquisitive, clever lad who will likely excel at whatever he puts himself to, but is not inclined much toward leadership, being more of a follower. He’s neither particularly talkative nor particularly withdrawn. Oh, given the chance he’d do passably, but he far prefers to work in the background.
History: Rethwyn was the youngest of three sons in his family and spent his early years on a remote cothold. His childhood was relatively happy, and with no other boys nearby, the three were close. Sure, they got into the odd argument and sometimes even fight from time to time, but they got along, mostly, and as long as nobody got a black eye or broke anything or neglected their chores, their parents didn't interfere with their disagreements. Trips to the main hold were not a common thing, and when his father deemed such a trip necessary, it was always just the eldest son who went along, as his father seemed to think his younger sons would be likely to race around and get in trouble. When Rethwyn turned thirteen, his mother managed to convince his father that the two younger boys probably ought to learn something of the outside world, and they were permitted to come along.
