Name: Taturo
Age: 15
Appearance: Taturo has luminous pale green eyes, as well as short, silky light brown hair that tends to stand on end. His skin is fair. It tends to burn in direct sunlight, no matter what he does does. He has a light spattering of freckles across the bridge of his nose, though not immediately visible. He is tall, though not awkwardly so. His build is thin, almost considered skinny.
Personality: Taturo is compassionate and forgiving. He has integrity and does what is right. He is intelligent and kind. He doesn't accept change very well but he knows it's inevitable. He doesn't stir up trouble. He wants to be friends with people he dubs worthy of his friendship. He is somewhat quite, although he does speak up when he feels the need. He does what is needed to done. He loves to learn. He is quick to learning and will ask questions when he doesn't understand something.
He tends to be distant when he loses his temper. He has a long fuse due to the training he has received. Therefore he doesn't get angry very often. When he does, he tries to remember his training and holds his tongue.
He's too tense almost all the time and needs someone to relax with. He is a workaholic, works day and all throughout the night. He appears to have no time for a lover or flirt. His actions speak for his loyalty and honesty.
Once befriended, he will be almost family. He has a very strong foundation on views of family. As young as he is, someday he wants to settle down and have couple of little ones. He will never abandon those who prove themselves to him as family.
When he chose to be sent to Shadow Weyr, he tried his best to accept the new location. After all, a dragon was a dragon... right?
History: Taturo was born in the north. He never knew his mother and so he lived with his father. His father was a guard for Bitra Hold. Because of this Taturo came to know many people including another guard who taught him how to lie, cheat and steal. He also found that by using his looks and age he could get extra rations and so he used this to his advantage. His looks and small stature have always kept him one step ahead of trouble though. When the occasional Gather was held at Bitra, Taturo would wander around looking lost and hungry, eventually someone would feed him. It was easy, just cry and be fed. He did it to gain things they needed: life was hard up in the mountains. He had to learn how to look after himself and was not a stranger to the occasional bit of hard work. Thread did not help and so anything he could bring home was treasured. It was not all bad as his father loved him, looked out for him and took him to the Hold for lessons or work.
It was there he became interested in becoming a Harper, as his father's lifestyle was beginning to wear on him. 3 Turns Later, he was Searched, and failed to Impress at High Reaches, was sent south to Shadow as a volunteer Candidate.
His cousin is the senior goldrider of Shadow Weyr, Rica.
Position in the Weyr: Weyrling
Dragon Name: Mnelesth

Rusting Metal Egg- This egg is- mostly- shiny, but there are strands and patches of a coppery dark brown running all over, giving it the appearance of rusting. Viewers will note that this egg seems sad...
Dragon Appearance: Rusting Metal Egg- This egg is- mostly- shiny, but there are strands and patches of a coppery dark brown running all over, giving it the appearance of rusting. Viewers will note that this egg seems sad... Out of the Rusting Metal egg will emerge an average-sized bronze. Mnelesth is not as large as his brother Ghanth, though he almost matches him. Mnelesth is a dark, almost muddy, bronze, though slightly lighter on his under-jaw and feet. His wings and body, however, are of perfect proportions.
Dragon Personality: Mnelesth is smaller for a bronze, and it is perhaps this that leads to his quiet nature. He would prefer to work together with his siblings, not compete against them. He firmly believes that he- and his rider- must prove themselves as a pair before he can be accepted. To that end, he seems almost submissive to older dragons, though his broodiness conceals an intense drive to succeed.
